Syria, is a crucial important bordering country of
Turkey with over 900 kilometers, has been under a pitiless strife for
eight years.
During this time the leader of Syria has been applying
massacre on its own citizens who wish to get their democratic rights like every
country in order to be governed through democratic rules and rule of law.
Since the first day the suffering with every aspect in
Syria has gradually increased.
The entire world knows that these massacres happened in Syria appeared in the media from time to time.
The related body of the United Nations observed and
reported the illegal and brutal events which have been carried out by the
regime on its own citizens in Syria.
Instead of looking for a solution by the democratic
and lawful ways, Syrian regime has preferred illegality and atrocity against
its own citizens until today.
In face of this carnage, seemingly either
international community or international media and the United Nations, as well
as other human rights organizations have not showed remarkable effort and condemnation to end up this dram.
As known since these carnages started in Syria, the asylum
seekers have been fleeing their home and sheltering mostly to Turkey, as well
as other neighbor countries.
According to the Turkish authorities, currently Turkey
hosts nearly 4 million refugees in its territories
Since the first day Turkey has been showing effort in
order to finish this humanitarian crisis and to find a lasting solution for
these defenseless innocent people in Syrian.
Meanwhile regarding this longstanding conflict, structuring of terror
organization along with Turkey’s border has begun to appear as a tremendous threat
for Turkey’s security.
Consequently, Turkey had to kick off a military
operation so as to remove this huge dangerous development, to make up a
security zone alongside its border in 30 kilometer-deepness.
The aim is to protect itself against possible
terrorist attacks and also to make up a security zone for millions of Syrian
citizens have been hosted in Turkey.
However, we see that this peaceful operation has been
deviated from its main target.
Without looking at reality, the international media
and some of international community try to show truth as unjust, but false ones as just.
Not seeing the murders, humanitarian crises in Syria
for eight years, they try to show Turkey’s operation against Syrian people not to
terrorists. This approach is a kind of perception operation and not matching with
truthful journalism.
If this military operation would have been held by
another countries other than Turkey, they would welcome their action as normal.
This mentality does not want to remember the situation
of Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, Myanmar. Because imperialist
mindset prevents to see the realities in these countries.
Where were these international media and community while
Israeli air strikes that destroyed Palestinian defenseless innocent people over
their heads without observing babies, children, women, elderly.
This kind of mindset and approach reveal a reality
that international media and international community might lose their confidence
across the world.
